Andhra Pradesh is famous for the pickles made of unripe mango fruit. Different variants of mango pickles have been consumed for centuries all over India. One of those is the famous dry mango pickle also known as maagaya / magai / magaya pachadi in Telugu whereas called dry aam ka achar in Hindi. The maagaya pachadi is manufactured by using sun-dried pieces of pickled mango, which provide a unique flavor to the dry mango pickle.
